Being Ready!

Hey guys!
Thought I'd take a break from studying, and post something small.So basically I realised how ready we have to be for god's little challenges.To be more specific,I'll give you an example =)
So I was at Y4J last saturday...and basically half way through worship they started to sing Indescribable (Chris Tomlin) !I had a very good friend of mine who used to attend these meetings, and we used to love this song and would just sing it together all the time!So at that moment I said: "God,what do I do to get him/her back to you?" and I felt that i should message this friend and let him/her know...so I said sumting like : "Hey,we're singing Indescribable at the moment!Remember our favourite song?!So I thought of you,and wanted to let you know that God knows u and loves you cos he placed u in this world..love you x x x x "
And this person messaged back asking why i thought of him/her..insomma d messaging went on.But what I wanted to say was..I asked God what HE wants me to do, He answered me..and I did it!Ok it might not always be so easy...but it's possible!From the tiniest most stupid decision to the most important decision in your life,ask God what HE wants you to do...not what you want to do!

Maybe the best way to get everything done is to stop and pray. Nehemiah was a man of action.He became governor of Judah and quickly got everyone to work building the walls of Jerusalem.But the first thing Nehemiah did "for some days" was to mourn and fast and pray: Nehemiah 1:4. If you're going to get any job done well,you need God's help.The time you take to pray before you act isn't wasted.It's the most important time of all.
So basically just pray before you do something,no matter how stupid it might sound to you...God will appreciate it =) Going to leave you with the song indescribable..rly cute video and another song of Desperation Band called Ready Now, that I also fell in love with...the words r gorgeous!=D x x x Enjoy!God bless you all!
