Ahh well..summer?

What is up with Malta weather?Since when does it rain in June? Oh I know!Ever since we decided to ruin the environment!!PXXT
Well a high five goes to God for his rescue plan yeterday at Exiles...those who weren't there basically missed out on a huge wave and people swallowing water, bev and bett being dragged on the rocks...ben and rob trying to help them..and rob scraping his side while ben couldnt breathe properly! Basically I got extremely worried, but i kept it in,I mean a fuss is the last thing they needed, right?

I don't really care if anyone reads this aymore...atleast God does, and apparently this foreign Christian Blog, weused2bu. The link is on the side bar, check it out, pretty cool =)

Summer has officially started...im liking it..except for a few downs, actually quite a few downs..but I'm gna concentrate on smiling!

Has Jealousy entered my life?Or is it worry of loss? I know I'm confusing you,but well,I am confused...=O

Today we all played Twister at Bett' house, now I know why it's called Twister for real...I mean WOW!Left hand this right leg that..before you know it,you're down, flat on your ass...

just like everthing in life,no? (yes, another of my stupid comparisons) I mean you get twisted in things...: Drugs, smoking, drinking, lust, sex, bad company,obsessions/addictions...think of it this way, satans spinning the arrow...he's just picking something to twist you around his finger!Sometimes we think we're cool and we keep getting twisted till the end, cause we think we can manage..but we soon fall down, crying out to God..am I making sense?I'll shutup now xD

I have a question..as christians is it OK if there are certain people you just can't stand simply because of their character..or fakeness....Not without reason I mean, these people actually just bug you because of the way they act in front of others...I'm confuseddd

I'm leaving you wth yellow shorts,a mosquito bite, and an apricot in hand...
OH
and a confused brain with teary eyes =O

Whether it's right or wrong, I know I don't like everyone. I mean, we're meant to love everyone you know? But some people just hurt =/. But then that's why it's a challenge. Makes you wonder how God feels everyday, dying for people who only want to use his name to swear etc. Must hurt like hell.

as humans its extremely normal not to like people... and to hate them sometimes... but as Christians we are called to love no matter what... "Love until it hurts, but with a smile".. even if loving the person is hurtful.. still love her with all your heart! In such situations we should ask God for the grace of forgiveness and for Him to fill us with His love so that we'll be able to love the person. I'm personally battling with this at this very moment, thats why i'm so informed about it! ;)

I think that this is a question of loving the person but hating the trait that drives you up the wall. I'll try make myself more clear: Jesus used to love the sinner but not the sin, and you are called to so the same - to love the person without necessarily approving of their bad character traits or behaviour.

Now, love doesn't mean that you're expected to be best buddies with every person you meet. Love means the very things St. Paul says in the famous Corintians 13... loving someone means being patient and not easily angered, being kind (without being turned into a doormat), not being rude to the person and neither keeping track of the wrong things s/he is doing to you. Love trusts and hopes that the person might come round the being better someday and it keeps holding on (persevering) as you pray for the individual concerned.

This might all sound humanly impossible but following Jesus is meant to be humanly impossible. If it weren't the case, we'd be following Jesus with our own strenght instead of trusting God in our everyday lives.

Sorry for the long comment but I felt I had to answer. I close by saying: read 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 very slowly in you rprayer time and let God speak to you through it.

I loved everyone's response. We are truly called to walk in love at all times..I wish I would have seen this article sooner. I have been so busy with WeUsed2bu and Consecrated To Him. You should consider adding a subscribe button so that we can get emails of your new postings.

In regards to your question about: As christians is it OK if there are certain people you just can't stand simply because of their character..or fakeness"?

There are always going to be fake people. But we have to always walk in love. Everyone is going thru their own battles and trials. Just like God is trying to work in our lives he is working on theirs too. You have to leave them in God's hands and pray for them.

I have also learned that these people can be used by God to refine us. I call them sandpaper people. They are people that you really wish you did not have to deal with or maybe even avoid. They are just one of the tools that God will use to remove the ugliness off of the surface of our hearts. When you get a chance read the artilce. I hope it helps..Click here to read the article
