So lately I've been reading about obedience in the Bible...and it's been on my mind, and Jesus dying for us must have taken a really lot of obedience, i mean he could have chickened out..but he didn't cause he loved his father so much that he obeyed his request and kept praying for courage...so I encourage you to try be as obedient as possible, but that comes with love...how can you be completely obedient to someone you don't love? Rhetorical question =) Think bout it!So that explains the picture...now for todays thought...xD
So today i was thinking...you know how God puts something on your heart sometimes, and you know that if He wants you to do it, then you should. And you go for it, full of courage...then things start to go wrong and this thing isn't working out, and you start to worry and panic...and you start to think; God, what's happening? How I can i do this if things don't work out? Well it's happening to me at the moment! And its really worrying me, and today I just went in the bathroom and prayed (this was at skul lol) and then I felt this amazing peace...and I felt Him tell me that if I agreed to obey Him,to do what's in store for me, then whatever happens, in the end its going to work out, no matter how long it takes or how people react...or in my case don't react at all! I was really encouraged and I mean it's true...it won't be much of a challenge if everything goes smoothly..some rough patches are meant to be there! So I decided to encourage all of you, that are doing something for the glory of God and are finding it hard to cope, because some people are giving you trouble, or for any other reason! Go for it! God loves obedience,
2 John 1:6 "And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love."
Romans 5:19 "For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous."
He WON'T leave you hanging...I promise! Keep praying, He wants you to tell Him how things are going, even if He already knows, but He likes to hear your voice =) I hope I made sense guys...
Deuteronomy 31:6 (New International Version)
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

I think the object lesson is TOTALLY rely on God. I have found that the outcome I want and the time at which I want it delivered, in the long run would not have been good at all. He asked you to walk out in faith - because the Lord your God has already fashioned the finest ending. "The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."--Exodus 14:14 God bless. Anna
